You could owe extra fees after the County/city sold some type of tax lien on your property, through their normal collection process.

As the applicant has to send scanned image of government-issued ID and proof of income by email as part of the application process.

Once there is enough equity in this property/accumulated cash, I would purchase another, and continue to repeat this process. 

On the other, the foreclosure tanks credit and could cause an applicant to not pass a pre-screen process. 

Two ideas:Solicit your list to see if you have buyers who will just pay you a "finder's fee" for a good buy & hold versus getting involved in the contract assignment or double-close process.

These properties have new liens up for sale but I'm hesitant to buy any because I'm not sure why the certificate holders haven't started the foreclosure process even though they are years past the required redemption period (2 years in Florida).
