If two lenders are priced the same for a given type of scenario, but I have one I like better between the two, normally I'd send all the files to the lender I like best and call it a day.

I would ask to see a copy of their file, including background check and credit report.

Different lenders have different guidelines, so that's where a broker may come in handy by being able to shop your file though different lenders!

The local drive is a lot faster if I had to go recover a file, but it's not bulletproof.The nice thing about Backblaze is that you can even back up external drives.
