Hi All, I need helping finding a local attorney to provide advice on my investment property and current lease.

*Not an attorney here* but depending on the state, you can usually back out of the contact as the buyer (or wholesaler) up until the closing date HOWEVER, this is very highly frowned upon (just put yourself in the seller's shoes and you'll understand why).If the problem is finding a buyer, you probably do not have a deal, unfortunately!

Any ideas other than contact an attorney?

Alternatively, in my state, my attorney has advised that even if a tenant were to make a partial payment to my account, I could still refuse the partial payment and return it to them and proceed with the eviction (consult with your own attorney on the laws for your state).Overall, there's nothing inherently bad about tenants having your bank account number and it's a viable option for certain tenants, like the ones who don't have bank accounts. 

Account Closed Not an Attorney - but I believe the Title Agent is correct.

If I was an attorney, I would get my Real Estate license (I believe in NY they just need to file for some chump change).

We could also use the attorney as the trustee, but that is sure to generate legal fees.Anyone on BP have an opinion or rule of thumb on this?
