One of the main reasons why I want to do real estate is because after losing my job last because to a merger, I wanted to have another way to provide for my family and to reach financial independence one day.My goal is to become a buy and hold investor, buying duplexes and multi-families in my area and possibly out of state. 

Is the goal to separately meter everyone? 

You can use this loan as a stepping stone to buy as many as you can with the goals of refinancing to better rates within a few years from there?

If the long range goal is to hand it down  and there are multiple heirs.. maybe his vision is giving a property or two to each of them.

Our goal is to build passive Income through SFH's first and then move onto MFH's.

My goals are to pay this thing off as quickly as possible, while looking for more like it.  

Eventually I set a lofty goal for myself to try and obtain 3 cash flowing properties by the end of 2018.  

Wondering if the LLC would just make sense later on, as my goal is to keep flipping for at least 6 times for active income before doing any buy and hold.

There is no one single way to invest in real estate and networking with many different investors may give you additional ideas for achieving your goals.

Real estate investing has been a goal of mine for a long time and I am now in a position to fully pursue.
