If not, please let me know where I should ask the following:I've come across some real eye sores of buildings during my travels around the Unites States.

The inside was dirty but not damaged, however their where multiple lease violations (disabled smoke detectors, dogs and smoking).

I have a sister who was a traveling nurse and she probably rented a place like mine in her travels!

I've had great luck with one condo complex in particular, getting 10+ rates with Airbnb and travel-nurse rentals.  

Realtors are really going the way of travel agents.  

I expect some major water, smoke and structural damage, but not sure what else to look out for. 

 I recently learned that there are a lot of people in my area that rent rooms to travelling nurses and other professionals on a month to month basis.

I laughed, thinking she was just blowing smoke so that she could get to more important things, like towel racks.After further discussion and running the numbers, we realized it actually made sense and spoke to our realtor.

Travel to the property is grey area.I do recommend you deduct these expenses in 2017 even if small.
