I don't think you need one before you start buying investment real estate, but as soon as you do, you're absolutely going to want one who specifically has a real estate background.

Most people don't do it because it's a pain if you manage it yourself and for limited upside.

My initial thoughts, which are definitely open to change, are to buy a quad that I can flip into something around 20+ units with some investors and build off that with a goal of at least 60 units trying to cashflow around $6K per month.

I've been on teams that reviewed a bunch of CRMs and it mostly came down to what someone had used in the past, for the sales people, and how much it costs, for the managers.

Just thought for those of you starting out and thinking of buying one to live in for a year or two then turn into a rental or sell later, this is a wonderful option.
