Listen to the Biggerpockets podcasts, you can learn a lot about how other people have taken this journey. 

I listen to a lot of podcasts about multifamily syndications and I havn't found any that I don't learn something from.

My goal is to get my first multi-family ASAP, I have been running numbers, going to meetups, and listening to all the bp podcasts on my commute.

I was listening to a housing expert on the news the other day and he brought up an interesting point.  

I learned about bigger pockets almost a month ago and have been listening to podcasts and even went to Brandon's newbie webinar.

Hey @Allen Smith, not sure if you like listening to podcasts, but there a ton of great multifamily podcasts these days that can help you get started.I got started by reading books and listening to a ton of podcasts to help me get familiar with the process and lingo, then started attending local multifamily meetups, and eventually invested as a limited partner (passive investment).
