If your HOA has a property management company, contact them and ask for clarification.

Continue with your work and when you see her simply express your condolences and instruct her to contact you if she needs anything.

@Keith HebertYou ‘ve gotten alot of good advice on here, my advice is pay top dollar for high value/low frequency tasks and look at outsourcing your low value high frequency tasks.Pay a CPA to do your taxes and review your books on a quarterly or annual basis-get a bookeeper (there is alot of good 3rd party bookeeping services that work remote) have them do all the data entry/recs and set up checks so all you have to do is print and sign them.

Have already contacted a mortgage broker to see what we qualify for.

I'd like to know what that is (or maybe I just have to contact them for that), because my neighborhood is so new and booming that every agent and investor I've talked to in the local area is hard-pressed to make solid evaluations beyond what sale prices are tending to pop up.

I contacted a local banker who now is recommending we obtain an individual commercial mortgage for each property.

Out of the blue, a neighbor of one of the properties contacted us to ask our interest in selling, even though we weren't even considering it.
