There is a new amazon facility in Colorado Springs, but I am not sure how much more appreciation the region will experience.

Have you found a better market in NH for them such as lakes region, or on the coast? 

Rents are growing along with home prices and we have had several new employers come into the region.

If you want to flip houses, do tens then hundreds of evaluations on flipping in a particular town or region or area; however you define it.

While I have zero experience in STR "innerhalb von Deustschland" I am curious as to why these specific areas- and while I don't know SFR legislation per region, with STR in mind I might only suggest to look into Berlin as a more lucrative area- thinking along the lines of tourists specifically.   

We can't meet the current housing demand and our population is increasing by 950 a day as a state and 200 in our market region.
