Does anyone know why the average rental income of STR in Galveston is almost half of what it is in other nearby markets like Port Aransas and south padre island.

I live on Long Island, and finding a multifamily for a good price is it a bit challenging because of competition (still haven’t given up searching there).

You could look nearby in parts of Vancouver Island, but those prices have also gone up a lot. 

Your advice would be greatly appreciated. thanks Upstate NY (1000 Islands Region) has a stable rental market due to the military base, Fort Drum being located here.

I was super interested in Airbnb Arbitrage to use the funds to acquire more properties but as you know here on island, it's a nightmare for STR.

Las Vegas is a small island of private land in an ocean of federal land.

Less emphasis is put on those features that impress a retail buyer who is easily wowed by vanity touches: the coffee islands, the gas fireplace insets, the hot tub in a cramped bathroom that looks good but that chops off the leg room for the toilet.
