It goes up for carpet if you use a "Carpet Installer" : $3.50 - $4.50 (ridiculous, right?).

In my area, once utilities are provided to a lot, there is no hookup/installation cost to re-establish service after demo.

They installed extra lock so I couldn’t get in and check if they moved their stuffs in the bedroom..Since two days have passed already, and I have their move out notice signed and sent them text messages,  Can I have their cars towed and change the locks to get in? 

Many smaller outfits although qualified could take 2-3 days to finish,  opening up potential risk to water damage in case of surprise rain.Are you getting ridge vent installed?

I thought I was being brilliant by installing submeters for all of the units.

Milind, As long as all the piping is rated for gas, and is installed according to code and manufacturers instructions, you should be able to switch between them.

If its a real live honest to goodness person who has actually done it and enjoys talking and teaching it can be fruitful.See what your dealing with.remember BP  is a DIY website so your not going to get much love from folks on this site or encouragement to hire trainers..

@Seth Golie @Cody Sperber  BP nation has a pretty negative sentiment on virtually anything that is paid training. this tends to be a DIY site.. and of course they have their own materials they sell which I have never bought or looked at personally.I do believe though you could shop E bay and buy virtually every providers of these types of services used from folks looking to resell them.. there is not really much that is new in RE .. for some one with zero experience there is defiantly a learning curve but most of the SYSTEMS are interchangeable and will hit on the same topics..
