It seems counter-intuitive that they would give me tips to access their same agents or contractors as it seems we would then be competing for the same deals from the agent, priority time with the contractor, etc.

Only 48 hours into discovering BP (stumbled across them via YouTube) and I'm hooked on how helpful and amazing they and the BP members are!  

I suggest:Home Depot or Lowes at 7:00 am (Tip from J Scott, that is when the good contractors show up)Local clubs and meetupsnetworking with other investors (auctions are a good place to meet serious buyers)Craig's list or other online adsStop at every property being rehabbed you see.

hi micheal. i do not know about the area where you are, but here in western new york, the owner can remove the asbestos themselves and throw it away in the garbage. if, however you choose to have it done professionally, it will cost you thousands of dollars. with asbestos, you have to wet it down quite a bit to keep it from becoming airborne. check out some youtube videos to see how it is done
