In other words, as we are always under a time crunch, getting the final touches completed prior to the open house can take a village.  

The area surrounding Forest Hills is pretty reasonable.American Village - Just west of Duke's campus, large 80's-90s era family homes and the area south of campus bordering MLK but before you get to Hope Valley for affordable 2-3 bedroom houses on big lots.

I ask because it seems like an odd question for anyone who's been in the city more than a few months.As is obvious by looking around, the big money in development is big MFRs (high-rise condo or rentals in River North, Printers Row, etc), or large SFRs (Lincoln Park and Roscoe Village, for example).

Then restraunts, downtown stores, like auto parts, sporting goods, even bars and service stations. 

As a part-time rehabber and full-time property manager in the city, here are my general thoughts for anyone looking to invest in the local real estate market:The greater downtown area (Downtown, Midtown, New Center, Woodbridge, Corktown, Indian Village, Lafayette Park, and Rivertown) is a pretty safe bet.

The high level of service and touch that they offer and the auto updating for me on my entities was the selling value that helped me make my decision.  

Well, we got rid of the 4's and 5's, kept the 3's but made sure we didn't binge on them, and where we could found cheaper ways of doing the 1's and 2's, like switching to a cheaper home and auto insurance.

it's just best to have a good agent who will set you up on auto searches-- as many different ones as you want.

Most of the city must comply to a FOIA request for any property.Check with village/city office.Cheers!
