Crime websites say it's a somewhat higher crime city, but it's nothing we've directly experienced, just part of living with other people, and we feel quite safe there.My question is about some of the neighborhoods in our area.

View report*This link comes directly from our calculators, based on information input by the member who posted.Hey BiggerPockets,I have found a potential deal on a multi-family in Chicago that may cash flow but unfortunately is in a C-neighborhood (and also right next to a major metro airport so maybe noise factor will be bad). 

I would suggest talking directly to hard money lenders and not work thru brokers - less fees to you upfront.

I believe they scrape most of their data directly from the MLS; that means there will be a bit of a delay, but for most people it won't be too big a problem.

Whatever direction you go, don't buy in cheap, low end neighborhoods just because they are affordable. 

@Thomas Condon and @David Morgan There are many questions to be asked and directions to approach this and to take this for a simple answer.

The two other methods I am aware of are installing a motorized main damper to direct flow to the area calling for it and hydronic boilers driving several remote air handlers.

@Hugo Shi I use a digital format because it uploads the clients not working with a Realtor directly to my CRM.
