@Patrick Vos I work full-time as a GC in the Twin Cities (based out of Minnetonka) and hold both my Residential Real Estate Broker license and Residential Building Contractor license.

However, I have a full time job and part of the requirement to be a broker eventually is that I have to hang my license somewhere for 2 years. 

I'm a mechanical engineer currently working full time in the utility industry.The more I read and learn, the more I'm realizing that my next move would be to invest passively to gain experience for future investments.

Best part is they don't require W2s or tax returns... which for full time real estate investors is a huge plus.

Looking to quit my job and do flipping full time as well as rentals.

IRAs are "blown up" in that they are considered distributed if a PT occurs.

To me their value is in chasing down late rent and collecting late fees as well as being willing to post notices and arrange for repairs  In Minnesota I paid a full month for placement, but then just $89/mo on $2700 in rent.

Are you doing full background and credit checks on new tenants?
