I am looking at MFH opportunity in San Francisco... everything looks great except for the fact that there are 2 protected tenants in the building...

As they should be, it takes more effort to wait for inspectors, make repairs, ensure rules are adhered to, etc. and that should be factored in.

Mike,Under most Insurance policies for rented dwelling, apartment buildings, etc. that include Business Income or Loss of Rents coverage, it requires a covered loss. 

It needs a reasonable profit to build and maintain the business, keeping it viable during the down times.

Then I would focus on growing relationships and building your core 4.

You'll get a nice paycheck immediately, and you'll learn more in two years working for them than you would struggling to build a business on your own.

Now my question is: if my current driveway only fits 2 cars, would you guys preferp street arking or building a new driveway?
