Yes this is utilized as part of the screening process because when the prospective tenant says, I don't have a checking account or debit card then that disqualifies them, and yes this includes my section 8 tenants.For any of you that say, if they want to pay rent in cash and you can't deny them based on that....well yes that is true...IF THEY ARE ALREADY A TENANT.

I just got a notified by my realtor that the seller of a property I was buying is back out, for no specific reason.. credit was acceptable, down payment was what they asked, 20%, terms were countered and i accepted everything they wanted, full asking price, yet once the owner found out i was 21 he denied it.
