when I build spec homes after sheet rock I let them chose colors from pre selected items such as granite and tile and I say approved paint colors usually a grey, beige, and brown tone.  

The FZD we pull is usually more accurate since there are somewhere around 70 venders that provide these FZD service to lenders and their accuracy varies from vender to vender. here is a map showing The blue represents the high risk flood zone Identified with a AE and the elevation. the orange/yellow color is a X500 which is not a flood zone that lenders will require flood coverage if you carefully at the map you can see some parcels that are in the blue but the structure isn't or some where the structure is partially in the AE flood zone. 

Remove the drywall, have the ducts cleaned, remove the insulation, and figure the electrical is shot.  

I have developed different preferences in colors, trims, etc over time and that's something that comes with experience I believe.

Color flyers?  

I liked the color and it was easy to apply;however, I was disappointed in the coverage as the aged wood really drew in the stain.In both cases I used a brush to apply the stain, which was quite a lot of work.Best of luck!

I'll post more pictures once the cabinets are in and once the bathroom is further along.Any ideas on counter top color?
