I think I’d like to start investing in my Roth IRA which I have but haven’t contributed since I’ve bought the duplex back in September 22 but I’m trying to figure out my budget again because I’ve moved to Los Angeles to live with my gf.My reserves have definitely taken a hit so I’d like to build it back up and am hesitant to start contributing again until I can have a reserve for my real estate (thinking 6 months worth until I’m comfortable contributing to Roth again)Is this dumb?

Hi, i'm 22 years old and looking to get started in real estate.

Good day BP community,Since I’ve become a member of BP I often scroll the forums and see some of the same Real Estate Rockstars answering questions or providing guidance and opinions. 

To answer your question the past 2+ years I have not bought any real estate due to my opinion its over inflated and have been on the debt side (lending). 

Mobile homes and mobile home parks have been my highest CoC and IRR investments in real estate so far, but I am always looking for ways to improve. 

Plus the building itself must show receivables as a business or in rents to underwrite the NOI of the business, Rent rolls, and occupancy ratio if rentedHave you thought about starting small and simply buying some single family homes or 2-4 units and transition into commercial? 

Our business real estate coach has also shared that the entire US is like that in almost all the markets.This is the first time this has happened to me.What are the recommendations?

I only will recommend folks I have done business with.

You may generate money in real estate investment by educating yourself, starting small, then expanding as you acquire expertise, particularly in low-cost regions.Good luck!
