Here is a little more info related to my question:My (note: "my" means my wife and me) daughter likes her job and finds it rewarding and fulfilling, and I am putting no pressure on her at all to change careers--my job has nothing to do with RE.

I figured out how to connect all the detectors and wire them together. 

The appraised value seems low and I am trying to understand the best strategy to challenge this value and the cost / benefit of going through the condemnation process. 

The more affordable price points with foreclosures the less the discount tends to be.
