Personally I think the $USD is somewhat safe, but it's that "somewhat" that would cause me to want metals or property or "stuff" over liquidity (beyond what I need to keep on hand to buy when deals come up)Yes, the $UDS is strong vs. others but it's almost almost guaranteed to lose purchasing power.

There COULD be forced appreciation, as that tends to happen when you buy early in a new development, but never a guarantee of it, so view it as a bonus and not a motivation.I'm not familiar with that particular market so I'd just say make sure the demand is there and have a firm grasp of what sort of revenue is reasonable to expect.

They were ripped off by the inspector because a bunch of those tests samples were unnecessary. 1966 home with popcorn ceiling, almost guaranteed to have asbestos.However, good thing the inspector was reputable and didn't damage anything.Yes, I got the report, and the roof was not sampled.I have offered to eat the cost of a month's rent and have them find another place immediately.
