I already booked my flight, hotel, and registered for the BP summit in March and know I want to know how I can get tax "write off" or deduction or whatever its called.

@ Hugh - As a rehabber myself (full-time) I do not think it is strange that one would not know an appraiser, after all, on each flip, it is the buyer's lender who hires the appraiser, not the flipper.That said, my suggestion is to ask some fellow investors in your area, or simply look in the phone book.

Remember, back in the great depression... rates rose even when we had deflation, however my finance text book taught me that interest rates can only go down when we have a deflationary spiral.Real estate and cash are the only two asset classes that i believe in today.

Start with all of BP, get as many books as you can and read them, sometimes several times, and then read some more BP.

I would start by reading a few books and anything you can on BP about CRE investing.
