Per what I see it's the same in the KC area as well.As for Facebook - I'm a believer FB live videos and other marketing is a current way to supplement old school ways of simply throwing a property on the MLS and having sites like Zillow and Realtor.com pick it up.  

Right now, buy and holds look the best due to the fact of cash flow for my future and enables me to grow. whether I land lord myself or have a company do it.... that will be interesting to see.I have the ability to go anywhere i would like after the military.

I'm from Kansas City, MO and I'm interested in learning about real estate investing for the purpose of getting some supplemental passive income.

But now that I have held my license for a few months I plan to supplement my income by representing clients to buy and sell homes.  

While it isn't something I do regularly for rentals [unless it is an incredibly high-end high-rent ($6K+/month), that is] I've found they are actually a great way to supplement the property's listing on sites like Zillow/Trulia/etc by providing buyers with an extra layer of depth. 

I am currently a business owner of a sales and marketing company looking to earn supplemental income via a buy and hold portfolio of residential homes.

This would save money in numerous places of the construction and also enable the builder to have vaulted ceilings and such since there would be no mechanicals or ducts in the attic. 

I'm going to also be doing all of the electrical work with my brother in law who's a master electrician to supplement some of the work that's needed to be done in the major areas like the kitchen and bathroom.

The kiosks and other technologies are more for new customers and supplement face to face interaction.

I plan on buying another within the next year or so and using the income from the 3 to supplement my retirement.
