There will likely be enexpected expenses in the future (medical, extra taxes, high inflation, ext) that can easily whittle away at the 5k until you are below the poverty line.I would like to world school my kids.

With three major hospitals, about seven colleges, and the Medical school, the pool of tenants is awesome.

Many in the travel medical industry, like technicians, make far less than nurses so their budget is a lot lower - this might be a good group to market a private room to.

to be a private pilot in the US hands down one of our great freedoms here in our great country. .. nothing like it in the world frankly.. had issues with my medical.. and just decided after 30 plus years and never denting anything that retired pilot sounded like a good thing.. not that I did not have knocking knees a few times when I came back to mother earth :)
