The reason most don't worry about doing it is if the inspection does not pass they will put you on a time clock to get it fixed or removed.

They usually cost $8-$10 a month, and you can remove the requirement for Renters coverage so it should net out for your tenants (as you will pass this cost onto them), but you are assured that all tenants are covered.

I know you can't evict right now, but can you give 30 or 60-day notice to tenant to vacate because you will be doing something else with the property, such as possibly sell?  My tenant is on a month to month.

If you ask the manager to justify a fee and he starts hemming and hawing, move on or require them to remove the fee.

You didn't mention this, but I'm going to just put this out there as food for thought.As a US Citizen, you're required to file tax returns in the US, no matter your dual citizen status, where you live, work, etc.

The rental marketing has been at full capacity for quite awhile, but with SAH orders, layoffs, food shortages etc, the rental market will most definitely drop considerably.
