However, there is good off peak season demand especially for weekend  and holiday rentals of luxury lakefront homes because many people from DC, Northern Virginia, and Richmond want a drivable weekend getaway. 

You can also update the policy at any time.If you've made the decision to use it as a vacation rental, I would focus on getting it listed and building up some reviews as soon as possible to try and set yourself up for a successful holiday season this winter.

The outcome is relaxed customers who are thankful that we listened to their suggestions from the survey we put out before we closed on the laundromat.

I plan to organize another meeting after the holidays in January.

As a renter, the appeal is that it is completely remote, unique, gorgeous and will force us to relax and unplug from life for a week.

Of course, there could be a litany of reasons: COVID, bad time of year for moving, post-holidays, but I've rented out another unit in the middle of winter before and never had a problem. 

My honest answer is no, because I would much rather have that extra $1,800 to spend on travel and to be able to buy nice things and to live a bit more relaxed.

I am planning to start attending some REI networking events after the holidays.
