If you're looking for a place in NYC or Brooklyn there are a few things you need to consider: First: Establish a price point (very standard) The reason I say this is because in NYC you're going to be dealing primarily with Condos or Co-ops, this means you're going to be dealing with HOA's or other boards, and they will take a lot of time for interviews and reviewing your paperwork.

In all of his interviews when he is asked about economics or the future he basically says he does not even consider the future when making a decision on an investment (paraphrasing).

I've researched and interviewed 8 hard money lenders.   

Interview several of them to understand their scope of work before signing on with them.After you close a few deals, you'll start to feel comfortable running comps, making offers, and seeing the transactions through to closing.

Interviewing" lawyers is mostly unprofitable for both.

TLDR: I'm currently taking a "guru masterclass" and am super interested in the REI space. BUT. I don't know how much of this "master class" is really just a big marketing scheme to buy into some other program/coaching...
