Anybody willing to share if they have seen any benefit from investing in opportunity zones?  

This is put on by the same group that does the workshop and you can meet those guys and discuss further there if you are interested or just use it as an opportunity to network with like minded people.

I truly believe he wants someone who he would have a better opportunity to get a “new roof and new boilers” replaced and he could take back over. 

Unless there is some sort of population growth on the horizon, I'd stay away from anything other than a decent cash flow opportunity.
