Depending on your budget, you should be able to tick some or all of the following boxes: VIEWS, convenience of location (Close to restaurants and coffee), quiet, nearby trails, amenities (golf, gym, pool, etc), and of course the normally desired quality and size of home/furniture/etc.There are condos that can be rented nightly, priced under $300k.

Even those with coverage, like restaurants, are getting denied.

Chris,Insuring a multi-use building can be tricky if the Mercantile use is a restaurant, wood working shop, etc. that are deemed to be a more hazardous exposure. 

New restaurants and new apartments and things like that have begun to creep up in that part of the city.

Every Christmas I send tenants a $25 gift card to a restaurant.

All Mexicans are rapists or drug dealers.

Today they have more business so most bids are at market pricing so that restaurant that used to cost 900,000 to build now cost 1,100,000.

Value your contractors time, a case of beer goes a long way or a gift card to a nice restaurant.
