Will the mentor help throughout the business plan?

I'm looking to build a 2500 sq ft two level ecofriendly single-family home which incorporates natural surrounding into the design, I'm trying to figure out what my cost should be for architectural plans: elevation, floor plan, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, etc.  

@Robert Leitner if you plan on growing, you'll have to switch eventually.So, why not now and just get it over with?

Real estate investing can feel daunting, but with a solid game plan and a reliable formula, you'll gain confidence.

For renovation ($200k), it might take some time to get permits (ie, pool and additional bathrm) so plan to start it in late November.

TIA all opinions welcome I’d start with talking to the planning department of that municipality to see what the property is zoned for and what the allowed uses are in that zoning.
