We are currently waiting for some of her interviews to go through to use her income to pre-qualify with a letter of intent but that could take a while and we would like to make an offer on this property because the area is rural and there are not many house hacking opportunities there.

I would interview multiple STR management companies so you can get an idea of what they offer, emphasize and their experience so you can hand off your asset in the hands of a reliable, intelligent and effective team.

I would love to interview to list the homes you'd like to sell as well, if you're open to it. 

Most teams I interviewed with didn't like this.

I would also recommend interviewing serval lenders, comparing rates, and having them all compete for your business.

I was actively looking for and interviewing contractors for some work I knew would need to be done on the property before I could rent it out.After interviewing a number of contractors, I decided to move forward with my contractor of choice (Jerry from Noble Home Improvements in Denver).

They will want you to list your home, but don't feel pressure as you are just interviewing them to hear what they have to say. 

If you're not happy there, start interviewing some other brokerages, and make sure they offer you the training and support you need.
