She took out an auto title loan to pay me back and we signed a mutual release of the contract.Update: Now it's a year later and every couple weeks she sends me an email or leaves me a voicemail at 3am about how I screwed her over and she's onto me as if I'm doing something to her now which I am not.

I'm no economist, but I think that Detroit's issues stemmed from an economy supported almost entirely by the auto industry, which then shifted its operations overseas.

Dave and Joel, thank you for those ideas, I would ideally like to remain here in Venice CA (LA) while my mother and father are still alive, I guess the best thing that could happen would be to REFI and get the loans consolidated1st 470k 5.875% fixed 30 11 years in already2nd 250k 3.40% Adjustable till 2017 then principal as well!
