The school district is very good.

I believe this is because of the several new urban cores that have been developed in LA; think downtown, Hollywood, Culver City, NoHo Arts District.

In my opinion if you want lower cost of entry, go out of state, and if you want to invest locally, look in better school districts.

@Rob Appel having kid's school districts is a tough barrier to work through but you would be the best person to answer that since you know your market better than us. 

Area: So in my opinion, Johnson County has the best school districts in the KC area, top rank: Blue Valley, Olathe, Shawnee.

We were told that the neighborhood is going to grow with the formation of the 78th (the newest neighborhood) and entertainment district.
