Hello,I am looking to convert a 2 family with a bonus 3rd level unit to a legal 3 family in a zone that permits 3 families.

Convert to condo and sell.

We are looking for a fixer 1500-200 sq ft (Ill be doing a large portion of the rehab myself excluding electric/plumbing) that we could turn into 2 separate units by adding a second small kitchen and potentially extra bathroom, and renting out the second unit, along with converting a detached garage into a vacation rental we would self manage, while staying in the first unit for the first year to fit the FHA loan.My questions are for the lawyers and contractors in the area:1.

.* Some HELOCs can be converted into fixed-rate loans when a drawdown is taken.

It's a 4 bedroom (but bedrooms are small, 2 are in the converted attic).

How realistic is it to try and find a bunch of people interested in buying a place like this with the intention of converting them into single condos, instead of apartments?

Property tax at the unit level would be in the event a multifamily was condo-ed out i.e. converted into individual condominium units.

My construction loan of $400K will automatically convert to into a mortgage.
