Two people (one measuring and one drawing) using a combination of laser tapes and conventional tapes can measure a conventional 2000sqft house in maybe an hour or two max with less error than using an extension tape alone.

This is largely an echo of what others have said, but you have 2 choices:1)Continue working and RE investing on the side, max out your 10 converntional loans using your W2 to qualify, then you may be able to quit and max out your wife's 20 conventional loans based on her W2 and your now seasoned rental income.
