With all the questions I have accumulated over the years, many of those questions were answered after watching all of Brandon's YouTube videos; thus landing me here.I am currently in the Education Field (Dean of a CPS Elementary School), but I have reached the boiling point of wanting to have a fulfilling and happy career (thanks Dave Ramsey, Property Brothers, Scott Mcgillivray and Mike Holmes)!

I inherited this problem, it just is not so easy to increase the rents that much with these tenants-again the emotional ties with my parents and my brother who set them.  

My brother and I just recently inherited from our dad and mom a large amount of rental properties, a couple residential properties, commercial buildings and a couple vacant lots.

However, I don't think this situation will work out that way.Option #2 I borrow my brother's jacked up 4x4 farm truck and pay a high school buddy who has spent some time in jail (6'3", 290#, tattoos etc) to come alone while I am being pleasant and firm when I meet everyone.

Reason for asking is my brother in law is in the Reserves for the Marines and I've been actively planting the REI seed since he got back 3 years ago.  

My parents almost did that a couple years ago to my brother. 

Escape the PMI within a few years with a refinance.Problem is, I currently live in Arvada and I'm looking at the suburbs surrounding the west side of Denver, and a lot of multifamily properties are pushing a quarter to a half a million.

Hey @Scott Gombar ,Two of my brothers are general contractors and I plan on having them check it out after my initial inspection.

And guess what - they know OTHER PEOPLE; brothers, sisters, uncles, friends, co-workers.  

I know my family and they can be a pain in the ***.My first Contract for Deed has just started with my Best Friends younger brother.
