So you might want to search your county public records to verify sale prices. 

Whenever I need a contractor, I just do a search in the group--of course, I still verify with the person that recommended them and my own vetting process which includes a CCAP/License (if applicable to job) and insurance check. 

Since self-managing, I was able to hand-select my tenants.

I would read a few real estate books (you can find recommended books by searching them on here).

The buyers attorney did a Title search at the local town offices on May 9th and was told that no back taxes were owed which was true at the time.
