So I imagine there’s still people always looking.

I would imagine anyone that falls into that category would also be looking for a short-term rental also.

There is one 4 unit in particular that I was looking at that is listed at 260,000, I imagine I'd close around 220,000 considering the time it has been on the market. 

As you might imagine I discard a bulk of these.After sifting it down to a small handful I go in and look at them, look at photos, area of town, rental rates, etc.

In looking back on all of those, and comparing my notes at the time versus what happened to the houses after someone else bought them, the most obvious theme I observed was that the worst thing you can do is under-improve.I observed many houses resell for more than I ever imagined.

Were it allowable to screen tenants based on nationality, I imagine the US tenant experience would be dramatically different.

What I imagine is a solution to this.

It's that simple.I can't imagine that giving up that $1000/month income is the smartest move.

Closing will still be with an attorney I imagine.
