Now lesson learned: always check public records to ensure all needed signatures are present on the contract and subsequent closing.

If it's not, you will probably want to have a community property agreement drafted and recorded.

However, some associations will try to stick you with unpaid dues and assessments not recorded as liens up to the foreclosure date.
