We did a heloc on our personal home and bought  4 different parcels of land with 2 mobile homes on each parcel.

No there is not one national MLS system but you already learned that.Also, most agents can give you access to their MLS through a mobile app, you will only see the consumer side of things but it will give you an accurate view of what is going on in your market.

They sell portable ones now that you can setup anywhere, anytime.

I work a lot in the Mobile Home Park space, so I'm picking up what you are putting down about the realities of folks in that socioeconomic class. 

I'm evaluating two mobile home parks with about 70 pads between the two.

I’ll add one more to what Dennis said , to the original poster (can’t look back I’m on mobile) check your landlord laws there in Ohio and if the cards are in your favor give them a nice early Xmas gift.
