Since it might be a couple yrs b4 you start investing I suggest tapping into the education & networking aspects of the site.

Many of the big players scooped up much of their r/e 5 yrs ago.  

I'm still serving Uncle Sam, but plan on retiring and returning to Ky in less than 2 yrs.
