Hey all,I'm categorizing this as a software question rather than an accounting question, but it could be both.I've been using Quickbooks to do by book keeping (Mac), but am looking at moving to a web-based tool for the benefits of mobile features, etc.

There are many resources that you can refer to but one example is Redfin's housing data. https://www.redfin.com/news/da...Scroll down the page until you see a graph and enter the city or county that you want data for.

I have access to another tool that does a much better job of the estimating and management tasks, but I don't have enough projects per year to justify the expense.My biggest concern about web-based tools is that I don't always have  access to a fast Internet.

For what you're looking for, there are web-based services and excel-based solutions.

I don’t trust everything I read on the web so I called the state FHA office today and spoke with a lady that said she would have a specialist call me back about my question.  

I’ll wait to see the Tellus web application release before I try it out again. 

Checkout Homestyler which is a free web app for creating basic floor plan designs.https://www.homestyler.com/floorplan/I recently tried MagicPlan Iphone App, but didn't have any luck getting the app to calibrate properly for taking room measurements, so just measured with a good old fashioned measuring tape.
