That ultimate exit (bills/expenses) dictates the criteria for you property profiles, which then dictate the market you should be investing in.What works for me, what works for others, isn't necessarily what's best for you.In other words, you should be reverse engineering your plan.

I have a confession, I have been reading on Bigger Pockets for the past couple months and listening to the podcasts and am only now introducing myself and getting a profile updated.  

If you don't have the right paper profile than much like a bank won't loan you funds without the right "profile" a crowdfunding site won't either (though the profile for a bank is more around assets/income/credit).
