Very true...But success is measured in different ways..I may be new, broke, and what some people consider unsuccessful "got my license in March" but my first investor I found a few weeks ago is going to make $10,000 in less than 40 days from my first deal ever....even Warren Buffet had to start at the bottom.

I'm guessing it would be massive.

I can't recall off the top of my head where you've had this massive event AND the residents can immigrate without much friction to somewhere like the US.  

One argument against it was the opinion that if it ended there would be a massive tsunami of evictions.

It's almost like getting a massive pay decrease at work!

I think it is still a great area for a high cashflow investment strategy, but banking on the whole region growing massively in a predictable period is a long shot.  

But having tax-free income to someone living in California (yay, state income tax) who is making $300K is massively helpful.
