the potential tenant was honest and told that his credit is bad because of student loans he was not able to pay. however, his wife is a director of a company that deal with children and has better credit.

A property manager can tell you what kind of renters you'll find in each area, families vs singles, vs students and then you can buy the right building accordingly.I just read David Greene's Long-Distance Real Estate Investing which should leave you feeling nothing less than inspired and confident that it can be done!

Hello BP Community,I'm not necessarily new to BP, but this is the first time I've attempted to dive into this since I first joined back in 2016, so to continue to cement myself further into this commitment, I wanted to make my first post and member introduction.I'm 25, engaged with two children, have worked in the Accounting field briefly with a Real Estate development and management company, and plan on moving forward in this process with my fiance.What I'm looking to gain from this website is to gain as much information as possible, as soon as possible, so my fiance and I can get into rental properties.

Your primary interest does not have to be real estate (though I expect multiple people in the mastermind will have real estate as a focus considering we're finding each other on BiggerPockets).I was inspired by the GoBundance group, however I'm holding off on GoBundance after finding they have a $10,000 per year fee to join.
