If you have a unit where it is prohibitively expensive to do it that way or it would be tiny you could go with a shower but it would not be my choice.  

Do I get choices?

It's a choice.

Call this what it is:  A personal life-style choice.

I could find someone to buy the note on this if you want, I don't think it would be to hard to find someone to buy the note as long as the ITV is reasonable.By all means give your partner the first choice, they have done right by you, but if they just want the cash you have some other options.

We have aluminum siding on one of our rental properties and I don't like the way it dents.Given the choice, I would definitely stick with the wood siding.

Obviously, you want them to continue to pay rent, but it should be your choice to convert or not to Section 8 Housing and abide by their rules.

So rates, flexibility, and speed are something variables to consider when making your choice.
