I am less positive about how well blockchain is going to change the rules of the game.

I have offered 145k where as the remaining note on the house is for 135k with the reinstatement fee figured in. I

So I just lost a round in this game with a 7 year old fridge that was failing to cool but was clearly not the compressor.

What is going to be your niche in the REI game?

My background is in transportation logistics, so managing tons of moving parts and being ahead of the game is at the core of our business model.

Although I suspect that's how/why I found my way here -- trying to learn about this whole game.

@Angel McClinton, I'm in the game on fourplexes in NW Houston, specifically Cypress and Spring. 

Just paint and carpet, maybe.  98% chance you'll get the house back ini same or worse condition.Needs plumbing swap, new breaker box, 200% chance you'll get the house back.I've done note and mortgage (traditional seller finance) and had to foreclose, about $1.5k plus the non-paying months.   

I say why would I stop playing this real life game of Monopoly?
