Don't allow too much storage in case you get a hoarder.

I’ve been in conversation with an owner of a self storage unit who is looking to sell in the near future.

  I would add a statement addressing the tenant's/ renter's available storage space and how much is provided for the tenant/renter and appropriate places for storage.

I haven't had any instances where Equity has charged me more than the $499 (except when I opt to pay the $60 doc storage fee for my clients - I've heard that this fee is often much more with other brokerages).  

Determine whether or not there is damaged soil due to leaking storage tanks.

However, I wouldn't recommend they use the basement for storage, nor do I think it's feasible to use the washer/dryer in the basement (they have to dance around huge puddles of water slowly receding).I was thinking of offering them the option to cancel, but I suspect that won't work well for them since they're expecting to move in.

@Evan Polaski I will definitely look at the new asset class like storage and mobile homes and see how they do in this environment.

Overview: SFH 3BR 1.1BA, 14x20 unfinished attic with staircase (peak is about 6’-6.5’, nice yard and parking for 3 cars in the back, it has a 8x10 storage shed and an outhouse looking shed on property.  

Properties here tend to have larger lot sizes, larger apartments, more parking and more storage space when compared with other parts of BK & Queens.
