If he doesn't run it, he has a cousin, brother, nephew, wife, son, daughter or whoever that will run it for him. 

My wife and I, plus my son and father-in-law are flying in to learn and meet other investors.  

We recently purchased a condo near the university my son attends so he can avoid paying the rediculous rents in the area. 

Her school was on holiday (so was my youngest sons) and she went home during this time period to see mom and dad. 

Current w2 income covers expenses, child support, etc, but leave only a small amount for savings so financing all of this will take some thought.My challenge is that I need to get 1 more bedroom in the mix with 2 sons growing and needing their space.My home is in the very narrow part of the city where accessory dwelling units are allowed and I have enough land to do it.

Similarly, while you could write a check out of your Solo 401k plan for a loan for someone to start up a business, you could not do so if that someone were your spouse, or your son for that matter.

You remain father and son as it relates to family matters.

My son almost passed out, my daughter and wife both fell ill and the internet installer is lucky to be alive. ( I have a recorded statement from him explaining his symptoms).I spoke with the seller and he is basically calling it my problem in not such a pleasant way.

The home heirs went to the daughter and son.
