About two months later in June, we had a HOT and HUMID few weeks here in Michigan, and in the kitchen I started smelling a musty stench.

From what I can tell Old Town, Westworld, TPC, and Desert Ridge seem to be the hot areas.

Hey everyone,New investor here, i'm looking to purchase my first rental property and my main issues are :1-Like most places the market i'm in is very hot now, the numbers are not adding up very well and there's no way in hell to find something that will make 10+% cash on cash.2-The only "cheaper" better performing stuff will not be the beautiful brick and mortar, 4 or 6 plex, you know the one that was built for that purpose.

We finally completed all of the rough-in work, moving walls to add a master bathroom and indoor laundry, and fixing the never-ending list of broken things that need repair on this 60 year old home in VERY VERY HOT Cathedral City, CA.

Multifamily has been on a hot run in the past few years.

I’m trying to understand how to identify hot markets outside my state?

Have a cold one and chill out...So what you're saying is that your local market, which I presume you know well, is currently depressed due to storm damage in an otherwise red hot nationwide market.

There are some markets that are lagging behind but they are still flaming hot markets.
